METYZ Joint-Stock Company was founded in 2001. The company was established on the basis of the former TIDE state enterprise, was the only big producer of metal fasteners in the Baltic Region. The METYZ enterprise produces fasteners from steel of low-carbon types (killed steel) and of rimming types. The choice of the types of steel depends on required resistance class of the products. For the moment the enterprise produces a great variety of 5.8 class resistance metal ware, such as nuts, bolts, threading rod, furniture accessories, etc., both with and without coating. The company is going to respond more flexibly to the market demands for new types of fasteners and to establish active cooperation with other producers of non-standardised products. METYZ is producing fasteners according to DIN, ISO and GOST standards by cold forming. Currently the company is producing the following main types of products: Presently, METYZ is also the only specialized producer of fasteners in the Baltic States. | For technical maintenance of the machines there is a repair shop and a toolmaker’s shop, where the toolmaker’s shop supplies the production with all necessary tools. | | On the galvanising lines the products are plated either on hangers or in a bath. | | The machinery available at METYZ enables the company to produce standardised products as well as to work to order |
